Sterling Construction Announces Closing Of Bought Deal Offering

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. (Nasdaq GS: STRL) (the “Company” or “Sterling”) today announced that its previously announced bought deal offering of 2,100,000 shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share, has closed. The offering resulted in net proceeds to the Company of approximately $14 million (after deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses).

The net proceeds from the offering will be used to repay indebtedness outstanding under the Company’s revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes.

The securities described above are being offered by the Company pursuant to a shelf registration statement which was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 4, 2014 and became effective on April 29, 2014.
