Sterling Construction Company, Inc. Awarded $22 Million Bridge Project in Stockton, California

THE WOODLANDS, TX – March 20, 2017 – Sterling Construction Company, Inc. (NasdaqGS: STRL) (“Sterling” or the "Company”) today announced that Myers & Sons Construction (“Myers”), is the apparent low bidder on a $21.9 million bridge project in Stockton, California. The McHenry Avenue Corridor Improvements project consists of the replacement of an existing two lane bridge that spans the Stanislaus River with a new 1,138 foot, 78.5 foot wide, five-frame bridge with 17,000 linear feet of stone column ground improvements. The project is scheduled to begin in April of 2017, and is expected to be completed by mid2020.
